I firmly believe that somewhere out there, in the vast expanse of matter and energy bound by eternal time is a world where life is simple and plenty, where green doesn’t ash and blue changes color with the sun; where new lives receive the wisdom of old but dare to stumble and learn on their own; where the senses aren’t fogged and tears roll down freely when the soul is touched with beauty.
Somewhere out there, a couple is kissing for the first time while they slide wedding rings into their entwined fingers; where love is making itself known with warmth and sadness alike; where knowledge flies out of dry books and finds its way into the ways of men; where they believe that Utopia is possible.
Somewhere out there, a planet is healing; where children are still innocent; where history is nameless but immortal with characters; where the only worship is values that instill pride in the existence of individuality; where perfection doesn’t exist but chased nevertheless with a fire that was lit billions of years ago, in one dark night and alive still singing a rhythm in their chests.
Somewhere out there, indeed; and the possibility of all that here… This baffles me.
