DANCE

Sangita Ekka, May 11, 2019October 11, 2021

There will always be times to feel like a hot air balloon, free like a bird, the sky seeming too close, the stars too few and the time in your life as just not enough. Let her come, let her sit on your palms while you cherish the moments and do let her go when she finds her sad mate that you are so not willing to touch. They dance together, not alone.

The streetlight colors their porch; ochre in sepia. Perhaps the perfect colour that fades like the roses they found in each other’s diaries.
